From the artist, Dale Weiler: The inspiration for Buster Brown was a picture a friend sent me of a brown trout he had caught and released. It was magnificent! Knowing that I would never experience seeing one of this magnitude first hand, I decided to sculpt one for my very own.
Fresh and saltwater fish populations around the globe are dropping dramatically due to deteriorating water quality, overfishing, and restrictions on their natural migration patterns. This beautiful fish reminds us to conserve our wildlife and practice catch & release if you fish.
