How cool is functional art!
From the artist, Dale Weiler: The original for this bronze casting was sculpted in soapstone. My intention was to keep water in the top leaf well to hold cut flowers. It didn't hold water, so I decided to recreate it in bronze to make it more functional.
Every time I walk by this piece, it makes me smile. You've got to love functional art!
