Meet Our Ambassadors

Eli and Cai are two Champions for Wildlife Ambassadors. When they heard about our Sunshine and Smiles Kits, they wanted to bring that same love of nature to kids in their own town. With big hearts and a passion for wildlife, they set a goal to build 100 kits and donate them to their local food pantry. Keep reading to see how they did it!

What Are Sunshine and Smiles Kits?

Sunshine and Smiles Kits are made especially for kids who might not have easy access to art supplies, nature programs, or fun wildlife learning. Each kit is packed with animal facts, creative art activities, and ways to explore nature—even from home! They’re designed to bring joy, learning, and a love for wildlife to every child, no matter where they live or what they have.

Their Big Idea

Cai and Eli noticed that some kids in their town didn’t have the same nature and art programs they were used to—so they decided to help. They partnered with Champions for Wildlife to bring Sunshine and Smiles Kits to their local food pantry. That meant asking grown-ups to donate supplies and money, gathering all the items they needed, and inviting friends to help put the kits together.

100 Kits and Lots of Smiles!

Cai and Eli worked hard to reach their goal. With the help of friends, they packed and delivered over 100 Sunshine and Smiles Kits to their local food pantry. They spent days gathering supplies, organizing everything, and making sure each kit was full of fun and learning. Giving the kits to other kids made them feel proud and happy—because they knew they were making a difference. Read what they had to say about their experience below!

"I was so excited to create kits for other kids. I feel like the Sunshine and Smiles kits will help kids learn about nature and protect it." -Eli

"It felt awesome to give activities to kids so they can have as much fun as I do." -Cai

You Can Be an Ambassador Too!

Do you want to help be an ambassador for wildlife? You, too, can share your love of wildlife with others. Even small things–like drawing animals or talking about nature–can make a big difference.
