wolf conservation center

We were blown away when we visited the Wolf Conservation Center. They care for 50 wolves including both red wolves and Mexican grey wolves. Their motto is “Wolves are worth saving” with which we whole heartily agree.

The Wolf Conservation Center cares for two of the world’s rarest mammals, the red wolf and the Mexican grey wolf. And when you get all of them howling together? Well, it is a once in a lifetime experience. We got to hear the wolves howl when we visited for the installation of Dale’s red wolf casting.

The center is tucked away a couple hours outside NYC. But they have live webcams so you can watch the wolves in action no matter where you live. Involved in critical research, breeding and promoting education, they lead the way in wolf conservation.
